ICYMI: Thislexik Hosts Design Preview Party

Yesterday Thislexik kicked off the first of its exclusive “Design Preview” series. Industry professionals including architects, designers, and more, came out to get a sneak peak of our new design concepts – which fuse cymatics (the visualization of sound) with experiential furniture design.

Introducing the Cymatics Collection: two custom side tables which explore the visualization of sound. On the left is our sand table concept, which will allow users to express their environment in a truly unique way. Changes in volume and pitch will influence the patterns and make it perfect for entertaining guests! On the right, is a custom liquid coffee table that will create stunning visual displays based on tonal vibrations.

In production: this custom coffee music table will showcase a liquid surface that provides its user with visible and lively patterns derived from the music. Patterns can vary widely based on the musical genre. The table will be smartphone enabled for bluetooth connectivity.
